Breakfast sets you up for the day and should provide plenty of slow-release energy to fuel your exploits. Oat-based cereals are rich in complex carbohydrates, releasing energy over a long period, with good protein and vitamin B1 content too.
Products which include a mix of oats and wheat, with nuts and/or fruit, can be more to the taste of those who are not fans of traditional porridge, as of course can be Mountain House's Scrambled Eggs with Ham and Potato.
